A rope reel from a workshop in Nowy Wisnicz
A rope reel (gisher – from German Seilgeschirr, twister) consists of a metal mechanism moved by a metal wheel with an attached handle (replacing the crank), driving gears that transmit the drive to 4 hooks. The iron mechanism is set on a wooden structure.
The machine was purchased in Nowy Wisnicz and comes from the workshop of Leopold Julian Kosturkiewicz. More about the origin of the machine – at the description of the rope wheel from Nowy Wisnicz.
