A rope wheel from a workshop in Nowy Wisnicz

The rope wheel consisted of a large flywheel moved by a crank, the drive by means of a belt or cord was transferred to 4 rollers with hooks. It was possible to adjust the height of the upper part, in which the rollers (not preserved) were fixed, achieving the appropriate tension of the belt (also not preserved). The machine used a large wagon wheel with an iron rim. The machine was purchased in Nowy Wisnicz and came from the workshop of Leopold Julian Kosturkiewicz.
