Rdr2 boring after story Of course, westerns are not for everyone, traditionally they are very slow-burn type experiences and if explosions and non-stop action are more someones style, then it might not be the right genre for them. I would say that, no matter what ending you got/chose at the end of Chapter 6, the ending of Epilogue Part II is, hands-down, the ending of RDR2. First of all, I don’t play many games. The Epilogues carry some of the best writing in the entire game, and flesh out the character of John Marston in such a way that the entire story of RDR1 carries more weight. I must admit the story is a bit of a bore from chapter 2 to mid chapter 3 however. The level of story telling, the details, the complex layers to the game, the mechanics, the visuals, that damn cinematic camera whilst riding my trusty steed, the shootouts, the deaths, the clever tie ins to the first game. I find it kind of poetic how in RDR1 I just wanted to play as John again and not Jack. It almost feels like they wanted to build an interesting heist based game/story, but gave up half way and decided to give it to a completely different team to finish. The thought of replaying from scratch is brutal and feels like a set back. I put about 80 hours into the story/epilogue before finally finishing and im already so surprisingly bored with the endgame idk if ill play much more online which is not what I want at all but it seems thats the only thing left to do now. . However, the lack of a new game+ or meaningful quests/missions after the main story is bumming me out. He always wants an immediate goal to compete for, he hates being left to his own devices in games. RDR1 was awesome, but in my mind it stayed a game, while RDR2 is fuzzy between game and cinematic experience. You can't rob banks, can't have followers, train robberies give you an automatic wanted status, no more upgrading a camp, and there are not as many bounting hunting missions as in Rdr1. That was my biggest gripe with the first game, that when you switched to Jack Marston, there was one quest to do and that’s it, other than finish any Rdr2 will go down as one of, if not my favourite PS4 game of all time. Of course not. RDR2's a great game with significantly more gore and dismemberment action than GTA V, improving upon the gore in GTA San Andreas. except I found RDR2 boring If I didn’t get pulled into a story so heavily I’d probably hated it all the same. So if he played rdr2’s story he’d find it boring af Just realized you said epilogue and not prologue. It could be more calm. Think if RDR2 had the cover based shooting of the Tomb Raider reboots. RDR2 has the same issues GTA5 has the story itself for both isn't bad but damn I the story slows down usually in the middle making everything feel like a chore. Even with gta 5. There’s also a few glitches that prevent me from completing the game 100%. I beat red dead 2 for the second time around 6 -7 months ago and I honestly dropped off as soon as I finished the story mode. In RDR2, the AI didn't present any threat once you were in cover. It definitely has some pacing issues. instead we are forced to build ranch with tapping X, repair relationship, and all with addition of (in my opinion) weak dialogues between wife/son and John Is the game perfect? No. The world is of course far less populated than rdr2 and the missions in GoT are extremely repetitive but even worse the story from what little I have done, is, in my opinion very boring, the main character and the ones surrounding him are bland, boring and I don’t really root for anyone. Im not complaining about lack of chaos and carnage of ending in main story. I like it. But, after having completed the game and jumping back in for more, we’re also convinced that that it’s truly one of a kind and that an increased focus on realism does not mean a game has to be boring. Any open world game fails imo when you take away the aspect of "open' in the game for example Marvel's Spiderman is boring imo because of the lack of ability to interact with the world. I would love to have missions around hunting, finding some treasure, getting hang with other gang members it had so mch potential. Nothing of note really happens. He never played the story and when we played online with him , he’d only do jobs or races, never free roam. I don't find it much… All the people complaining about how boring it is remind me of the 5 year old children I teach. Let’s break it down… I know I’m gonna get murdered now, but I have to get this off my chest; I found RDR2 to be the most beautiful but boring game ever and I quit playing after completing about 20% of story mode. You’ve got to keep their attention with bright colors and loud noises. Jul 26, 2020 · It's a slower style of gameplay compared to GTA. As mentioned, the complaints being made are valid. We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us. Possibly a silly song. It’s all perfect. Dec 30, 2018 · [Spoilers] Does RDR2 get boring after you beat the game? I’m nearing the end of Arthur’s journey and I’m wondering if it becomes boring, as in nothing to do, after you beat the game. gta 5 was still fun solo cause of all the extra mods that added the online missions into single player , at The story progresses perfectly as you make new acquisitions and advance through the game, changing things up without ever going to sh!t unless you choose to kill off one of the main characters. I play GTA and Forza mainly, and I have dabbled in Far Cry and Fallout for a couple of hours. I’ve logged hundreds of hours to upgrade my satchels, complete most of the challenges and more. At the end of chapter 3 the story picks up pace. AI flushing you out of cover with Molotov cocktails or rushing up from the side. I take back my answer, the epilogue does get boring for me, yes. Unfortunately it does get fairly boring after the story because they've limited a lot of the activities to a finite amount. fsxbfkf lfaytu pcwwaa bzwnp atzwxw rstsh ndpy tvdz djqkz jdsj ppida dztb gzu ghhvsx sqc
